Students who wish to be sorted should copy and paste the Sorting Hat questions into a new thread, named after their username.

Other members will tell you which House they think you belong in based on your answers.

When answering please try to elaborate on your choices. Explanations of your answers are very helpful to the people who want to sort you

Also be aware that our Houses are not the same as the Houses in the book. All the Houses have amazing and friendly people. So keep this in mind when answering the last question. Calling all Slytherins mean or Hufflepuffs stupid is incorrect and hurtful.

If you do list the house you want to be sorted in, your comment will be deleted and all posts influenced by this will be removed as well.


Feel free to ask all questions here, but do not answer or fill out the form here. The post will automatically be deleted if you do so.

Once you have been sorted, the thread you started, the one with your username, will be locked so no further votes can alter your House sorting. If someone else votes past the fifth voter, their vote will not be held accountable. It will stop at the fifth vote.


Do not open a new thread if you are not happy with your sorting. If you don't like it, then you don't have to participate. Unless you feel as though you were bullied into the House (which it is then OK to PM a Head or staff member), you are in your House. Just like the books.

Do not automatically assume you are in the House with the most votes yet if you have not yet reached that fifth vote. Do not even assume you are in the House until a Head or staff member comes to officially declare which House you are in. Wait patiently, I promise you will be sorted. If you have been waiting for a few days, PM a Head or staff member and they will see what they can do.

Once you have been sorted, and the Head or staff member has come by, announced what House you're in, and closed your thread, you are then allowed to post in your following House:

Gryffindors
Slytherins
Hufflepuffs
Ravenclaws
